El alcalde de Málaga en funciones, Francisco de la Torre, ha vuelto a dejar claro que por supuesto acabará el mandato 2019-2023 si la salud se lo permite, subrayando, en este sentido, su pasión por Málaga. Además, ha asegurado que la ciudad necesita estabilidad y seguridad política, jurídica y cumplimiento de plazos en presupuesto, ordenanzas, y para ello ha abogado por un gobierno de coalición con Ciudadanos, algo que ha calificado de razonable y lógico. También ha recordado que hace cuatro años ya ofreció a la formación naranja un gobierno en coalición y Cs no quiso y prefirió un acuerdo de investidura, valorando que ha funcionado bien pero en los últimos meses se han distanciado y lo han utilizado como han querido perjudicando a la ciudad.
